British actor David Suchet

Exclusive clip from “Long Day’s Journey into Night” — David Suchet & Kyle Soller

David Suchet returns to the West End in Eugene O’Neill’s Pulitzer Prize-winning masterpiece, “Long Day’s Journey into Night”, one of the greatest American plays written in the 20th century. He stars alongside three-time Emmy Award winner Laurie Metcalf, best known for playing Jackie in US sitcom Roseanne, who makes her West End debut in the production.

Directed by Anthony Page with designs by Lez Brotherston, “Long Day’s Journey into Night” was captured at the West End’s Apollo Theatre in May 2012.

Set in 1912, the play is a riveting view of the life of James Tyrone (David Suchet), Mary Tyrone (Laurie Metcalf) and their sons, Jamie (Trevor White) and Edmund (Kyle Soller) during one fateful summer’s day. Intense and passionate, this is classic drama at its highest quality. Unmissable.
