British actor David Suchet

Final day of shooting Agatha Christie's Poirot, 2013

June 27, 2013 saw the end of a 25-year history of making Agatha Christie’s Poirot. The final day of shooting took place at Greenway Estate in Devon, a house where Agatha Christie spent the last years of her life.

Many thanks to the film crew who allowed us to attend at the last historic minutes of filming the favourite series. As requested by the crew, all the pictures were taken only at the moments when the film camera wasn’t rolling.

The author of these lines and the photos below is extremely grateful to:

— Zoë Wanamaker, who didn’t let two Russian-speaking persons go mad and disclosed the filming location at the end of June (for specific dates) before other sources provided this information;
Greenway Ferry, a company providing river shipping and taking care of the Greenway quay, for their warm and welcoming attitude;
@HudsonMartha for her encouraging tweets and advertence to the whole process of getting to the film set;
— David Suchet for... for it’s a great happiness to love him!
